Q. Where does the urine and waste go? A. Our Synthetic Grass System is not much different from natural grass. Urine washes through the system into the specially formulated crushed rock sub-base below. Waste can be removed using your current process, only it tends to be less messy with the ProGreen Grass. Q. How do you clean synthetic grass? A. Rain is usually sufficient. If necessary, spray your synthetic dog run with a hose. Q. Can you get rid of pet odors? A. Yes. ProGreen's Odor Eradicator is an enzyme topical solution that works with water to eat away odor causing microbes. We have used Odor Eradicator to remove smells from turf after use at events like the Pet Expo with great success. We also offer Pet Deodorizing Infill. Q. Will my dog think it's real grass? A. Dogs absolutely love it! Many dogs will avoid pea gravel, cement or sand. All dogs love grass, including ProGreen Grass. Q. Will my dog try to dig a hole through the synthetic grass? A. Some dogs will try to dig through anything. Our dog run turf is extremely durable with a double-coated backing making it almost impossible to tear - but there can be exceptions. We recommend putting extra border stakes around the perimeter of the dog run to discourage dogs from digging. Q. Can I install my own dog run? A. Yes. Many homeowners choose to put in their own dog run. Once you purchase our turf we will provide you with both written and video instructions.
